Tu ne tu bu shupun, Momad woz Momik tu. Yi ror yave ska ðiz yi kʉpi žarž got.
Once upon a time, there were two shepherds, Momad and Momik. One day, they found a bottle of milk on a wall.
“Maraš sudoid ki yem žarži ya ʣuuɣ̌a wušk an”, Momike x̌at.
"I think this milk belongs to the yak's calf," said Momik.
Momad merz tu wozi zoq kert ki ya žarž pevem. “Meya Momad mey, yemi baf yark nast”, Momike x̌at.
Momad was hungry and reached for the milk. “No, Momad, don’t! That’s not right,” said Momik.
Momad kmeyde, ya buyev yan regde woz ya žaržav ya wušker pevovd.
Momad agreed, and together they took the milk and fed it to the calf.
Ya ʣuuɣ̌, yav imondorig tayin kert woz ɣafč xuš wita.
The yak saw their honesty and felt very happy.
Momad woz Momik be ɣafč xuš wita.
Momad and Momik felt very happy, too.
