Špʉn Kaṣ̌t et yi Ṣ̌apt

Tu ne tu, te hel, yi nәrip špʉn kaṣ̌ tu.
Once upon a time, there was a mischievous shepherd boy in a pasture.

Yoweṣ̌ ɣa niripiɣ̌ kert, wozeṣ̌ ɣa qʉw lewaieṣ̌ kert. 

He did many mischievous things and he was shouting excessively.

Yilowi yo qʉčqron gizovd x̌e diyoren yavi qʉ kert ki, jald weyzit, maẓ̌er ðast raṣ̌vit, ṣ̌apti da ẓ̌ʉ kelav pirvetk. Jald de maẓ̌ ɣ̌atit.
One day, he shouted loudly, calling out to the villagers, "Come quickly, help me! A wolf is attacking the sheep. Hurry and reach me fast!"

Ya diyor xalgiṣ̌t faṣ̌ derʉm gifcetk x̌e damev ɣ̌itetk. Ɣ̌itaker ki malʉmi vitk ki yow yav fan diyetk. Diyorive qari weyzg, damnev woqetk x̌ey diyorev piṣ̌tk.
The villagers rushed to him, running gasply. When they reached him, they discovered he had been lying. Furious, the villagers scolded him and returned to the village.

Ya nirip špʉn kaṣ̌i kendekt wozi ɣ̌afč yar maza wezg.

The mischievous shepherd laughed and enjoyed it a lot.

Aʒeng niripiɣ̌, ya kaṣ̌e ɣ̌afč gʉdor x̌etk.
Similar mischiefs, the boy did many times.

Yi rori miyanken yi ṣ̌apt weyzg. Ya kaṣ̌e x̌ʉ jenaw ṣ̌ux ṣ̌ux qučqron x̌etk, “Ye diyorive, jald maẓ̌er ðast raṣ̌vite, ya ṣ̌apti rost ken weyzg woz ska spo kelavi hamla x̌etk”.

One day, a wolf appeared for real. The boy shouted loudly, just as he had before, "Hey villagers! Help me out quickly! A wolf has appeared for real and is attacking our animals!"

Magam yem loi, ya diyorive yowe ɣ̌iṣ̌ neyvkeṭk wozev yowerev ðast ne rʉṣ̌vetk. Ya ṣ̌apte ya molvo laṣ̌ yitk.

But this time, the villagers did not listen to him and didn’t help him out. The wolf ate all the animals.
