It isn't easy to love someone here
Tuwet be majbʉr, wuzem be majbʉr

Rumʉṣ̌ bor maẓ̌e, kʉfetki dʉnyo
Try to forget me, for the sake of this world
Wuz be to rʉmṣ̌em, mar be car duwo
And pray for me, to be able to forget you

Išqi dem jəhon sof norəwo dišen
Love is considered to be forsaken here
Me tu maže diš bor me wʉz to dišem
Let’s be strangers for each other

Toweṣ̌ be pʉtrʉmd, ti šarmo hayo
You are bound by your modesty
Wʉzem be žərəx̌k, də rasme dʉnyo
I’ve been bound by the worldly convention
Towri be wʉṣ̌ʉk, ki wocep baðnom
You are afraid of your reputation
Mareṣ̌ be x̌anen, me go tam bəlo
I am told not to ruin your world

Išqereṣ̌ jahone sof kəto dišen
This world is considered too small for love
Me tu maže diš bor me wʉz to dišem
Let's be strangers for each other

Me ɣ̌at tra ẓ̌ʉ dil, ti išqi hawo
May the breeze of your love never touch my heart
Me tag tu kʉṣ̌ʉy, ẓ̌ʉ bayd ẓ̌ʉ sodo
May you never hear my song, my voice
Me ɣ̌ird trem ẓ̌ʉ dil, ti winge xiyol
May the thought of seeing you never cross my mind (heart)
Me wizit skem ti zik, ẓ̌ʉ nung ẓ̌ʉ qəsa
May my name and my words never grace your tongue

De Išqeṣ̌ wafowe yi gʉno dišen
In love, loyalty's a sin, they say
Me tu maže diš bor me wʉz to dišem
Let's be strangers for each other

Tu be bor bädal, ẓ̌ʉ jon ẓ̌ʉ nəzar
You just leave, and never look back
Wuzep be lecrem, ska x̌ʉ pʉzʉv ɣ̌ar
I will try to be strong enough to let you go  
Reṣ̌țep ʒeng Bʉlbʉl, cem ti č̣eẓ̌men ðeer
Only this way might Bulbul be gone forever
Səmat be ki kert, me got yo xəbar
And never be found even if you search for him

Yem ti hijre zehrep x̌ʉ dawo dišem
I will consider this poison of losing you, as my cure
Me tu maže diš bor me wʉz to dišem
